Peris Schaffino began his musical journey in 4th grade at Mentone Elementary School. His passion for music continued to grow throughout middle school, where he served as Drum Major during his 8th-grade year at Moore Middle School. He further honed his skills at Redlands East Valley High School, spending two years performing in the music program and eight seasons dedicated to color guard.

After high school, Peris pursued an Associate’s degree in Communications at Riverside City College, where he continued his involvement in color guard. He is currently enrolled in a Kinesiology bachelor’s program at Arizona State University, balancing academics with his passion for performance. Peris spent three years performing with the Marching Tigers and an additional two years with Fantasia, a top-tier World Class performance group. He was later awarded staff-nominated scholarships that allowed him to continue performing with the prestigious Fantasia ensemble in the following years.

In addition to his performance career, Peris has spent the past eight seasons coaching color guard at both the high school and middle school levels, leading his teams to multiple victories, including four prestigious medals. His blend of experience, dedication, and leadership has made him a key figure in both the performance and educational aspects of color guard and marching arts. When he’s not coaching or marching, you’ll find him working out, traveling with friends, and pushing himself to be at his best, both on and off the field.
